Sunny Esplanade
A dull start to the day, but one has to look on the bright side, doesn't one!
I phoned the surgery at 8am to try for a doctor's appointment and booked in for 11.55. More pictures coming in this morning for our inter-club voting at the Photo Club tomorrow night. We now have around fifty from which to choose 12 to go forward to the competition. Bet I don't have any chosen!
Walked down to the doc's in the dry and then popped into the chemist with prescriptions and had a saunter along the seafront. The sky was dark, but between the buildings on the North Pier the sun was shining on the houses and hotels along the Esplanade. My Blip today - the buildings look closer together because of the telephoto lens.
Decided to have a haircut and while I was waiting my turn the heavens opened and it carried on all the time I was in there. Fortunately the rain stopped as I got out of the chair and didn't begin again until I was walking up the steps to the house! So well-timed!
On the way home I noticed some new graffiti - today's extra.
