Into the Cold..

What a day!

My goal of the day was to avoid watching TV and I did manage to do that until evening when my curiosity got the better of me. However, It didn't take long for me to turn it off again!

Luckily, my day unexpectedly became busy enough to help with the TV non-watching. My doctor called in the morning with an appointment for me if I could get there within the hour. I could. And was happy to do so!  I had expressed concern in an email to him over my lack of energy and wondered if some of the meds I have been on since my accident might be partially responsible and if so, could we reduce them? Well, we could. So he did. Yay! My task now is to record two weeks of data and send it to him to see if these changes help while still maintaining the BP levels he wants.

Much more non-watching-TV time was consumed at the pharmacy which was a zoo as it usually is on a Monday as they try to deal with all the patient requests that did not get looked after over the weekend. I didn't get out of there until after lunchtime and what with phone calls and What's Apping etc, the day was almost gone when the sun peeked out and  the chance of some blip-ops at the lake arose ...So off to the lake I went!

It was a quick visit to the wharf; no strolling along the promenade or the beach. The temps were far below zero, and according the CBC, the wind chill made them feel like minus 24C! I was one of only a few folks who ventured out of their cars..and I did not go far! Brrr...(selfie extra)

I did catch some TV news before bed, but decided it was best to shut it off if I expected to get any sleep at all..I had hoped to see that Mr. Trump had reconsidered his aggression toward Canada, but I saw that he had not.
