Red sky in the morning

A stunning sunrise was getting going as I was making our morning cuppas - I ran back downstairs to get my camera, then ventured out onto the balcony for a few photos while the tea and coffee were brewing.  Nice start to the day.

Work still wasn't great today, though I had some good chats with colleagues and we provided support for each other.  I had a very short lunch, before a meeting at 2pm, so took a break later on - gave my Mum a call on the way to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy, and ended up doing a big detour to give me more time to speak to her.  Good hilly walk (and a slightly breathless conversation!)

Tim did more good work on our bedroom today, pulling up the old carpet and bleaching the concrete, to hopefully get rid of whatever might have been lurking in there.  Next step will be a liquid damp proof membrane.
