Sorted out all the stuff to take to my Mum today, and got myself packed up, too.  Had a really difficult visit - she was so upset and I couldn't say anything that would help.  It didn't help that she was still in bed, waiting to be got up, so kind of had to cut it short so that she would have time to get up and make it to lunch in time.  Called Tim from the car park and had a bit of a cry, then pulled myself together and drove home.  Glad to be back, and had a restful afternoon/evening - but woke up an hour or so after going to sleep, and couldn't get back to sleep for ages.  Also realised I hadn't taken a photo, so took this crap emergency one of my bedside light.
