Meall Greigh
We woke up to much better weather than forecast so decided to go for Meall Greigh, a munro in the Ben Lawyers group that we somehow missed when we walked up the rest.
So after a good breakfast at the hotel, we set off. By the time we were parked , the tops were already in the mist but, as we went up, we had these fleeting viewed of the higher summits nearby, but Meall Greigh stayed in the clouds all day. The walk up was a bit boring and I got a bit annoyed at myself for being so unfit and slow... Julian was going pas slowly as he could, yet I could hardly keep up ..
The top is just about 1000m - there was almost no snow but some lovely ice on the grass and rocks (extra). The route down was more pleasant.
We stopped at the Watermill café in Aberfeldy for a hot drink and cake before driving back home.
Back in Edinburgh, we first went to Katya's for showers since we still have no heating or hot water at home.
