Mochilas

Made by the Wayuu indigenous people of the Guajira Peninsula in the northernmost tip of Colombia. Each time I have visited, I’ve noticed they have added to them a modern twist, like beautiful sparkly details and designs, and leather handles. They are masters at mixing natural materials.
It’s wonderful to reconnect with the land, the colors, the people. Sunsets have been spectacular. Please see extra.
