Rainy day

We woke up and it was raining in the morning so we delayed setting off to basecamp till after lunch.
Today, we are walking up to the basecamp of Mount Kackar, one of the biggest mountains in Turkey.
We walked up the road to the beginning of the path where we found a lovely cafe so we stopped in there for pancakey things for a boost up the hill.
The cloud was very low and it was actually quite cold walking up.
It took about 3 hours to get there. We discovered that there were lots of tents at basecamp and you could rent them and even get your tea cooked for you! However we didn't know this so we pictched our tent and ran into the eating tent to warm up. We met the other camp members int the tent, there were some Czeck people and some Germans.
