Looking out to sea

A slightly misty cloudy start to the day.  I decided to go to a morning cycle class as I had missed one on the Monday. It was still fairly cloudy as I returned for breakfast.  Late morning my husband drove me to Exmouth for some shopping, as he's still getting use to driving the car again. The light was changing with some brief periods of hazy sun peeking through.  We didn't stop though.

After lunch the sun was breaking through and I headed off to Woodbury Common thinking there may still be a little mist there as well as the sun.  Unfortunately the mist had gone and the sun was also disappearing.  I wandered around and took a few shots and then returned home.  Remembering that I had a birthday card to post I quickly drove into town and took a quick peak at the sea.  The light on the horizon and towards Exmouth was lovely so I grabbed a few shots.  I thought they may well suit today's wide Wednesday with its theme of colourful and or striking.

The cows have come back this afternoon and the field is certainly in a poor condition now, still they have lots of hay to eat.
