Crossing the Road

Walking back from town today and I was thinking I wouldn’t get my blip. However just about to go under the bridge and thought that the black and yellow contrasting warning strip might just fit the bill for widwed, hosted by steveng this month.

So I crossed into the middle (where there is a couple of bollards and an island) so I could take the image from a better viewpoint. Of course the car coming down the road kindly stopped to let me cross the other half until I waved him on and tried to indicate I was only going half way :-)

I did see a good subject for Silly Saturday - not this Saturday but 1st Feb, which I am hosting - now just to remember where it was in 10 days time!
