Thank you for your kind comments yesterday.

After yesterday's funeral my sister has been busy looking through old photographs.
She has sent me one or two and this is one I liked. Again taken at Llanbedrog with our two cousins but this also included our dad.
As always, on the beach with trousers and sleeves rolled up. Never shorts and tee shirts in the late 1950s!

A visit to the optician this morning for our half yearly checkup. 
He was pleased that my eye pressure had come down after my cataract op. last year.
No need for glasses except for reading. 
MrC 's eyesight hadn't changed either and so no new glasses needed. 

This afternoon I have spent an hour or so sorting out our Home and Contents insurance and combined it with our car insurance for a hood discount. Spoke to a very nice Welsh lady who was very patient.  In the end ( with some haggling) she has saved us quite a substantial amount of money. 
Well worth all the stress!
