Everest: Revisited

As a change from our usual Garden Centre visit we decided to stay close to home and visit Rheged.  They have the required cafe.  Only the one, when the place opened  there were three or possibly 4 I can't quite remember.  Also they have periodic exhibitions.

The current exhibition is, as per title Everest: Revisited.  The exhibition has photos and information starting with the earliest exploration through to modern times.  As well as photos and the information boards there are exhibits of relics and equipment also mountain inspired art work. 

The blip is a phone shot, I didn't expect photography to be allowed, it usually isn't.  So I left the camera in the car.  Clickychick asked as we went in and we were told photography was OK.  So I used my phone.   The blip is of some of the modern equipment.  I have to admit I have never before seen a cubic tent, they don't seem to me to be practical for either rain or snow.
