Defiance, London at Allington

A further day of overbearing gloom and cold. Be careful what you wish for as to blow this clag away we’re going to have a storm over Friday as an active depression barrels in from the west. Batten down the hatches.

However, we walked along the Medway into town for lunch and coffee and acquire some thick socks, then walking back to the car just avoiding the mass exodus of several schools.

Defiance is a barge moored on the Medway at Allington Lock. It’s been there for years. In trying to find out about its history I discovered it is an Airbnb. No history of the vessel though.

Spent the remainder of the afternoon setting up the new iPhone. All went well. Then set up my old phone for Susan. We’re both happy. It will take me for ever to work out what it can do, especially in the camera department. Today’s blip is the last one on the 12, tomorrow, all being well will be from the 16
