The School on the Hill (watercolour)

After posting my blip on Monday and mentioning old paintings I had done, I made an effort to seek them out from the attic.  Both watercolours were painted in 1991.

Paul McCartney wrote the song 'Fool on the Hill' for the Beatles EP 'Magical Mystery Tour' (which I also have up in my attic).  The chorus is:
But the fool on the hill sees the Sun going down
And the eyes in his head see the world spinning 'round

My painting sequel, 'The Ice in his Head', is in the 'extras' but as I said before, I couldn't figure out how to represent a word (which word?  Any word) spinning round.

The school in the image was a former primary school at Grange of Lindores, Fife.  I have no idea if it still exists today.

Incidentally, if you rotate the ice image 90 degrees anticlockwise, you will see a different face.

[EDIT]
I have just checked on Google Streetview and the building is still there, restored as a private residence.  It is now partly obscured by a large tree.
