While looking for the right shade of thread to do some repairs I was interested in the names of the shades of these colours although the more recent ones just have numbers. Some here include Violet, Bright violet, Light lilac, Mauve, Mid blue, Light powder blue, Grotto blue, Adonis blue and Dark sapphire.  They conjure up a beautiful scene in my mind.
