School health monitoring in Zanzibar

In Zanzibar IMPACT works in 192 schools training School Health Monitors and teachers to check children for the early signs of disability and ill health. Further treatment and surgery is provided for those with health problems.

Children in this school have been learning about avoidable hearing impairment and how to care for their ears. They were quizzed at the end of the session and this pupil was top of the class!
