Frangipani

I was hoping to practise some birdie shots at the bird bath today because it's so hot I thought they'd be there in the hundreds.  However it's undergoing some maintenance and I will have to wait for another day!  I bit the bullet recently and purchased a 150-600mm zoom lens for my Full Frame Sony Camera (see extra).  With one thing and another I really haven't had a lot of time to use it.  This glorious unsuspecting Frangipani is in flower at the moment so in lieu of not seeing any birds I decided to practise on the blooms.  They really are a stunning flower and so delicate.  Mauzee tells me that they have a wonderful fragrance.  I'm thrilled about having the big lens and can't wait to get my teeth into some training sessions with it.
