Tides out

A drive into the village to post a letter and buy two items from the shop, fifteen minutes later I struggled to carry the shopping bag out to the car. This was the view over Loch Cuin on the way home. Gloomy in the rain.

We had a cuddle of cats in for breakfast, a good feeling to see all six in together, a rarity in the morning.  Greyboy tries to play with Ted and succeeds in some ways, his tolerance levels are limited and he doesn’t understand that a kitten needs gentle play, this is something Jack knows instinctively.  Tiggy on the other hand made a full out attack on Ted this afternoon, she cornered him, unusual, part of me thinks she wants to play, I don’t think she knows how.  I know she had two lots of kitten when very young, perhaps her motherly instincts are ‘all used up’. Ted was not too impressed and headed for the litter tray, emergency action, otherwise he coped.  When Tiggy first arrived she wasn’t sure about playing with the toys lying around, now she comes looking for them, extra, perhaps she will change and accept a youngster.  It would be unusual to have six cats and for them all to get along, generally it works reasonably well.

A day of showers with rainbows to follow.  A good day.
