Freshly baked

Today M and I went to pick up our first pottery pieces which had been put in the kiln earlier in the week. We embarked on a pottery course for beginners as a fun gift to each other for these dull winter weeks and it proved to be a great idea. We had fun, found it creative and meditative and learnt something too.

For Abstract Thursday today I took a macro photo of the rim of one of my bowls. The little collection of pieces is shown in the extra.
