It's Oh So Quiet...

As Björk would say! Don't think I've ever seen Bath so quiet as it was this afternoon. 

The weather had a lot to do with it I expect. Shortly before I went into Bath we had gales, torrential rain and hail, but thankfully it cleared just in time for me to take the bus into town. I only had half an hour in Bath but it was long enough to return some Christmas shopping. Today was the first time I've been out of the house since 2 January for something other than a medical appointment, though I still wouldn't call today's errands a pleasure outing. One day that'll happen, hopefully...
