Is it a sign?

This morning, I had a phone call from the dental receptionist cancelling my check-up tomorrow morning because the practice had instructions to close as a consequence of the severe weather forecast. I was a bit nonplussed as I really hadn’t taken a lot of notice about all the warnings about storm Eowyn, being used to windy weather in winter. Then this evening I received on my mobile phone a severe weather alert from the Scottish and UK governments. I’ve never had one of these before so I’ve decided to treat the forecast a little more seriously, making sure that our mobile phones, the electric car, and the laptop are all charged up, just in case.
