Passion Fruit

The Abstract Thursday theme is " Organic ".  This is half a passion fruit.  I ate a whole one this morning as a syn free treat. (I think some of the seeds look rather like tadpoles )  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting the 500th Abstract Thursday. 

I did intend going to the village this afternoon for some shopping but it was cold and rainy so I decided against it.  I almost didn't go to slimming group later on as it was a cold and damp evening but as I haven't been for 4 weeks it really was time to go back.  Fortunately it wasn't raining while I walked to the Church Hall... just a bit drizzly..

I gained 9 pounds.  I wasn't surprised... and I'm not worried.  I'm back " on plan" now and I know that in time I can get that weight back off.  As I needed some shopping I decided not to stay to the group meeting and just nip to the nearby Co-op and then head home.  But Hazel offered me a lift home so I went to the Co-op and then came back to join the meeting.  I hadn't missed much.  There were 16 members who stayed for the meeting .... including 3 others called Dorothy. How unusual. Even though the weather wasn't too bad I was still pleased to get a lift home. ( I was keen to have my evening meal as I hadn't eaten much before going to group )

There is an Amber weather alert in place for this area.... very strong winds are due tomorrow.  Ive been keeping up to date with the weather reports and travel news.  Seems as though rail services will either be cancelled or disrupted tomorrow.  Becky and Astrid were due to travel up from Yorkshire tomorrow by train and we were going to meet up for the day .... but we decided to cancel due to the possible travel problems.  We can easily re-schedule for another time.
