A Complete Unknown
At lunchtime, I treated Martin to a trip to the cinema to see "A Complete Unknown". It felt a bit decadent spending more than two hours of daylight watching a film (but in our defence it was pouring with rain for most of that time!), but it proved an excellent movie, and I'd recommend it to anyone with even the slightest interest in Bob Dylan's early musical career.
Timothee Chalamet was amazing as Dylan, Edward Norton made a brilliant Pete Seeger and Monica Barbaro was a very credible Joan Baez.
Afterwards, in sunshine, we walked across town, beside the River Itchen, to collect a car that was being repaired. This is a view of a little old church now home to the intimate Chesil Theatre, which hosts amateur productions.
