Snowdrop season
Galanthus nivalis
Isn't it lovely snowdrops are here again. I know a good few of you have already blipped them and here's an additional offering. It is certainly convenient that clumps of them grow very close to here as I've had no time for walking today. The builders turned up first thing to uncover all the ghastly underfloor mess on one side of the conservatory, clear the blockages and put a temporary pipe halfway up the garden to carry any further water away until they come back in February to do a much more extended repair than I initially thought would be necessary. Luckily they have done work here before, including my new roof last year, so I'm quite confident in going with what they suggest and know I'll get a good job done.
That took up the morning and this afternoon all I had to do - apart from my blip - was unload the grocery delivery, tidy up and set the dehumidifier going in the soggy conservatory.
I do hope your day has been less water-focused and that you all survived the storm last night (those of you it affected) without too much damage done. Can we now say goodbye to Eowyn (please)?
Enjoy your evening and have a good weekend xx
