Highland Fling
We had one of our Friday post-ladies’-Keep Fat coffee catch ups at our friends’ house in Glastonbury this morning. On the way over I spotted a footpath at the bottom of their road I’d never noticed before so on the way back we had to explore it for a little way.
We discovered that it leads up to Wearyall Hill (where Joseph of Arimathea is supposed to have planted his staff which became the Holy Thorn), with views across Glastonbury and the Tor.
A herd of Highland cattle had it all to themselves until we appeared. This one didn’t seem impressed to have the peace disturbed.
