Bloomsbury

A little corner of a hotel that is actually in Fitzrovia but is celebrating Bloomsbury. I love that soft mauve on the cover of A Room of One’s Own and the painting recording it behind    

Busy day in London. First thing was a meeting with the new company that I’m joining before going on to a lunch in Notting Hill Gate. At lunch the Oscar nominations came through and as we were eating with an interested party we had champagne to celebrate.  Well they did, I bought it but didn’t drink any as I am still doing Dry January.  

After that I went back to the hotel pictures for tea with Lorenzo before getting home at a good time. 

Lots of anticipation of the arrival of Storm Eowyn - but it doesn’t look as if we’ll be much affected this far South.
