TouchNote
Went round to Mum’s at tea time with some new trousers I’d bought her online and found myself giving a tutorial to her and her carer on TouchNote, the brilliant app that turns digital photos into postcards. We, brothers and I often use them to send stills of family events and of us, the grandchldren, the great-grandchildren and dogs. See some on the mantelpiece - including Leo aged 2 that I posted here last week.
Other than that it was a quietly industrious day. I caught up with work in the barn office, walked the dog, made some calls and cooked myself supper as V was out into the evening, seriously delayed coming back by some weird train detours and delays.
Oh yes! Finished Wellness - much longer than I thought but got me in the end. I think it’s a powerful book but ultimately rather schematic. And long. Started Orbital the Booker winner. Which is short.
