Safe house
The Gothenburg film festival started today and for all who can't go to Gothenburg to attend, they offfer the a possibility of buying ticket on the web so that you can watch the films from home, as they are shown in the movie theater. My friend Ove did so and we, his neighbours are welcome to watch some of the films in his house, conveniently he has a big screen and proper sound at home.
This evenings premiére film was, in English called "The safe house". It's a Norwegian film about a team of doctors working for "Médecins sans Frontières during a conflict in Africa in 2013 where a muslim refugee seeked help at their field-hospital in the christian part of the city. The christian militia wanted him out and would have killed him but one of the doctors refused. It raised questions about the value of a human life, moral and religeous issues, the doctors working conditions and, if there are rules during a civil war. See it if you get the chance, it's a dark story, based on a real event that in real life lasted fifteen hours.
