Perch Rock Lighthouse

A beautiful day forecasted and delivered, but the birding today was a real disappointment. 
We missed the black redstart by about 20 minutes - left before it arrived and then it left within 5 minutes. The tide was wrong at Hoylake and we couldn’t find a parking space at West Kirby! 
On to Burton Marsh where we ended up staying for the rest of the day as Burton Mere Reserve was closed due to a fallen tree blocking the access road. 
At least we found the Little Owl, but no pictures as it was too far away. 
Whilst at Perch Rock this morning, I took a quick back-up blip with my phone of the lighthouse, so that’s what we’ve got for today. I didn’t even turn my big camera on today!
