Burns Night

It's Burns Night, so the haggis is on, the neeps and tatties are in progress, and I've found an old episode of The White Heather Club on YouTube.  If I'm honest, I'm not a great fan of Robbie Burns' poetry but I am a big fan of haggis, and I tend to do my neeps and tatties as a clapshot with non-traditional carrots included, which give a nice colour.  All served with a whisky cream sauce, to be followed by Cranachan which is chilling nicely in the fridge.  Should be tasty.

I couldn't decide which way to go with my blip so you've got both.  A lovely, bright, morning so we walked in to town to get the paper.  We stopped off for a coffee and a cheese scone (for me) which is where I caught W milking the situation.  In the extra, a view across the church yard as we headed in to town.
