Watercolour painting again

I’d seen a YouTube tutorial painting a blue tit in watercolour (by Tom Shepherd) so I had a play last night. I am really pleased with the colours, though not entirely happy with the shape of the head. I definitely think my sketching skills are a weak point (and as with most artistic endeavours practice is probably the only solution to that!).

It’s the RSPB big garden birdwatch this weekend. But as I disturbed all the feeders installing a new baffle to thwart the squirrels from eating all the bird food, I thought I would leave my count until tomorrow morning.
