Great tit

A few birds showed up during my hour watching and recording for the RSPB big garden birdwatch. As seems to be usual, a number of the regulars stayed away. So no magpies, blackbirds, dunnocks or wrens.

It was pretty gloomy so not ideal for photographing rapidly moving small birds, particularly as they were at the limit of my longest lens.  This was one of the better results, but is pretty heavily cropped.
