Take 2

A sense of deja-vu today with more bus journeys to see Scottish Ballet's Nutcracker for the second time. However this time the journey was north and involved some extras. 

The bus journeys there and back were smooth with no delays, despite the wintery conditions at Drumochter.  I have been impressed with City Link over the past few days- doing their best to keep services going and keeping customers updated (although i did have to sign  up to Twittter again to get full updates).

We treated ourselves to lunch at Rocpool which I'd been wanting to visit for a while.  It did not disappoint. I had butternut squash risotto with goats cheese to start followed by chicken with cassoulet and polenta. Both were extremely tasty. 

I enjoyed the Nutcracker even more the second time around - it was fun spotting details I'd missed last week. The hornpipe and the pas de deux were especially outstanding.

It's been a lovely day out
