Clump of Snowdrops

Not the very first snowdrops I have seen this winter, two spindly ones have shown up both in the front and the back garden, but such a clump as these could not be ignored.

Although they spear through the ground in January, I like the way the flowers suddenly appear.

These are on Coach Road, Basil and I passed them as were Cecilying on to Garendon Park.

The fieldfares had all gone, more's the pity, but the sunlight was beautiful.
