Me and Deadly

I had a meeting at Costa’s to attend this morning and some local shopping to do. The afternoon was very relaxing. Reading and watching The Night Agent on Netflix.
Back out tonight (no rest for the wicked) to a joint 65th birthday and retirement party for our friend John (Mr P’s ex colleague) at the Braid Hills Hotel in Edinburgh. In addition to working for Heriot Watt, John also worked for the BBC and one of his friends is Alan ‘Deadly’ Dedicoat, ex Radio 2 news announcer, voice of the National Lottery and Strictly. I’ve always been a fan, so it was a pleasure to meet him in person!
