Big Garden Birdwatch

This morning I thought I'd go into town and photograph something under cover.  I got as far as the bus stop at the end of my garden, decided the weather was too disgusting and went back inside again.  Infact, I'm not sure the buses were even running. I never saw one. So instead I did my RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.  I saw precisesly two birds in the allotted hour, unsurprising since Storm Herminia was very much making its presence felt.  The birds were a great tit darting about in the bushes and this robin looking both damp and rather anxious.

The rest of the day has been quiet and inside - cleaning, tidying and reading.  Okay for one day, but heavens we have the whole thing to do again tomorrow.
