After the storm

The winds have subsided and we even got a bit of fleeting sunshine.  
We didn't fancy going far so went up to the park. A lot of people about today, taking advantage of the better weather while it lasts.

We had a good long zig zag walk. No obvious damage after the storm, just a lot of smaller broken branches littered about. 

The camera group's photo theme was Back lit but I didn't really get anything done as I was hoping for something nicely back lit by sunshine, but it was a very overcast week. 
So my blip is of one of our windows.done today. 
The palm was in a little flower basket given to me a while back. All the flowers have since gone but the palm is thriving, guarded by 2 foo dogs. 

I see I have reached a milestone.. 2000 blips. All thanks to Flavia 13 who told me about Blipfoto way back in 2019.
