Not deid yet
Today was a lazy jobs day. Started early doors doing the garden birdwatch, was very happy in the last 3 minutes when the bullfinches made an appearance. Full count at the end. I'm worried about the collared doves who we tend to only see in a pair, there was only one today and I hope something hasn't happened to the other during the storm.
After the bird count I nipped to the garden centre to get a pot to repot my Ctenanthe. It has recently started not looking so healthy with leaves shrivelling up and I wanted to see if a re-pot would help. Once home and cursing myself for forgetting to pick up some weed suppresant fabric I repotted it. It's always been a thirsty plant, but itseems I've been over-watering and it was very pot bound with the roots starting to rot. I'm hoping that a good prune and a re-pot will perk it back up, and it certinaly has much more space now. Fingers crossed.
Other jobs were finished then it was onto biscuits and tea.
