Teeth and Tea
It was an early start for a Sunday morning. The world outside was quiet and dark as I drove Andy to the hospital. After dropping him I drove home via Portsdown Hill and was fortunate to see the sunrise and the gentle pink glow it cast across the sky above Portsmouth and the coast around. The rest of the day has been very wet and windy.
All went well at the hospital and by lunchtime I was collecting Andy who returned with two less wisdom teeth - as planned (0: He’s been on a diet of jelly and ice cream this afternoon but hopefully will manage something more substantial tomorrow.
Otherwise it has been a day of walking Merlin, sipping tea and eating apple cake, and generally being restful.
This is one of the green teas I’m currently enjoying - it’s a Japanese green tea with toasted brown rice and is known as ‘genmaicha’.
Hoping you’ve had a good Sunday.
