Warblington Wanderers
We walked near Emsworth this morning in bright sunshine. On our way we passed Warblington Castle (the fortified house in this blip) which is in the hamlet of Warblington. It was built between 1515 and 1525 and, not surprisingly, is a visible feature on the landscape for many miles around. In the foreground Brent geese graze on the pasture.
We’ve had a fairly gentle day. Andy made stew for dinner while I popped to the allotment to prune some of the herbs and turn the contents of one of the compost bins. We’ve not got a good weather forecast for several days so I wanted to try to make the most of the sunshine.
We have an early start tomorrow as Andy is due to have two wisdom teeth extracted under general anaesthetic and he needs to be at the hospital for 7am.
Hoping you’ve had a good day.
