A first
On the move this morning to pack up and leave our accommodation which has been excellent.
In to Worcester for a Pottery session. We have never done this before, so it was a bit nerve racking for me. What was amazing was the fact that B found it quite easy and was good!!! A man who lives in front of a computer and I’ve never seen him do any thing creative like this in our 54 yrs together.
We were there for 3 hrs and have made two bowls and glazed them. The rest of the firing stages will be done by the potter and we will get them when they are completed. It was a super experience.
When we started I was absolutely exhausted after our busy day yesterday, but managed to survive. It was a bitterly cold, wet and windy day, such a change from yesterday, but the right way round for what we had planned for this weekend.
By the time we had driven home my hands had some circulation and were warming up. A nap was needed before dinner. A delayed Burns Supper with haggis was on the menu in our house. R wouldn’t have thanked me for that!!
A super weekend.
