Grave Recycling

We met up with Jess and family in Whitehall Park in Darwen, and were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Previously we have only been to the play area, but we had a walk with Bramble through the park until it meets the moors.  We will return and explore further.

Next to the park is an old cemetery also with lots of interesting features. One thing that I saw in quite a few graves was a Holly tree growing.  My Blip shows one that has several trees in the plot. 

I wonder if these were planted deliberately or if they are self-seeded.
