Still standing

Late gig last night, didn’t get to bed until almost 0300hrs….. my alarm went off at 0900hrs :-/

Drove home this morning, much busier than expected! C didn’t stir when I got up, spark out lol!

I drove straight to sis’s, we were going to see Giovanni of Strictly fame…… third time for me, sis missed out last year, due to her chemo, so i bought tickets again for Christmas, to surprise her :-))

I got to sis’s only to find her frantically drying her hair….a reactive black lab had lunged at & bitten Kobi quite badly on the ear…..which bleed profusely if damaged so she was well behind with her getting ready.

We had a nightmare queuing to enter the car park in Media city ……. good job Gio’s worth waiting for lol

He was just as good as ever…. although I did think he looked slimmer/thinner….. likely all the worry following the bad press he received last yea. He put a brave face on but no doubt it took its toll on him :-(

He talked quite frankly about what went on and how hurt he felt when all his so called Strictly friends didn’t support him, probably for fear of repercussions from the BBC. He has been completely cleared of any wrong doing but there has not been any publicity about that, old news as they say!

Anyhow he has a massive support network of fans and honestly I don’t believe he would go back to Strictly now, even if they begged him……. their loss imho :-)

Dropped sis back home then drove home, unpacked, made a quick tea……got myself settled to watch our game only to find my tv app wasn’t working…….. got it sorted eventually, but didn’t get to see any of the game, so just about to watch on MotD instead :-/
