"Ewe looking at me?"

After Storm Eowyn, we had black ice this morning. Not sure which is the worst.
My neighbours  and I exchanged stories of storm damage. We were lucky compared to others who reported collapsed greenhouses, flying debris, and fallen trees. One neighbour with triple glazing saw her windows shake.

I took part in the national Garden Bird Watch this morning and submitted my findings. It was my first time, and I didn't read the instructions, so I counted every bird I saw, possibly counting some twice. Instead, you should count the maximum number of birds seen together, like 3 robins. Twelve pigeons topped the list because they sat in nearby trees . Birds like pheasants, sparrowhawks, nuthatches, and greenfinches were not on the list.
