Rocket (or Roquette or Arugula)

A day indoors today.  We had bright sunshine this morning but then it turned dull.  And its been bitterly cold as I found out when I went outside to feed the birds.

The " gutter man " came this morning as promised.  He didn't have his ladders but we discussed what the problems were and he's going to return on Tuesday afternoon... with his ladders.  After he left her he used " Google Earth " to see some overhead shots of my house and sent me some photos and  asked me to ring him as he had some questions.  Main problem is getting to the gutters above the cat enclosure but at least he's aware of the difficulties and hopefully he can work around them. I hate dealing with tradesmen but he seems like a decent chap and  Ive read good comments about his work on the village Residents Facebook page.

Intended doing some more sorting out today but I had no motivation so I watched TV instead.  Another episode of Patience and then GrantChester.  I do enjoy any show that deals with crime - real crime or fiction. Watched Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Dancing On Ice this evening.  Can't seem to get into this series of DOI as most of the " celebrities " are unknown to me. 

I was short of a blip so Ive resorted to taking a shot of the rocket I had as part of my evening meal.  Did some  processing to give it a bit of an abstract look.  I prefer rocket to lettuce as it has more taste.
