The storm has hit!

Fortunately, we were unaffected.  Our bins shifted around but that was it. There's no trees down our road so none of them were going to fall on our house so there was no real worry.

Nearby, though, some people lost their water supply so we were fortunate to avoid that. R's mother lost power as well!

It was my first break since coming back from Madeira, and I definitely felt like I needed it!
