Sans-Sheriff

To Embra at His Majesty’s pleasure to play my part in the prosecution of a scurrilous rapscallion (allegedly a wrong un, at the time of writing this post). The case has begun and then been postponed twice previously, so I’m hopeful it’ll proceed today as the quality of the court coffee is an active deterrent to any public-spirited tendencies. Being a witness is also on par with the experience of waiting in a motorway traffic queue for interest levels.

I’ll report back later today when the wheels of justice stop turning.

Edit: It was ‘im wot dun it. He ‘fessed before we had a chance to point him out in court. I’m heading home relieved that I’ve drunk my last cup of Embra sheriff court coffee…..
