Silty Beck

This is the view from a small bridge over the beck in the village. Normally this is clear water - but all the rain yesterday has caused a lot of soil run off further upstream and the result is this cloudy brown flow!

On my own for a few days (potentially) - Mrs madwill has made a short notice trip to Bedford to be with her sister after their mum was admitted to hospital. To make the day even harder for them, Mrs madwill had a call from Shrewsbury Coroner’s Office to let her know that their brother died last Thursday (Mrs madwill is his next of kin). The Coroner thought that the police were getting in touch with her. There seems to have been a breakdown in communication.

What a rotten start to the week.
