Shiny Brown Leaves

A cold and miserable day - it rained a lot overnight (again) but no actual rain during daylight (so far) !!

Whilst out walking I liked these wet brown beech leaves - the water seems to  have intensified the colour and they looked nice with the green ivy backdrop.

Thank you for all the messages for Mrs madwill - it is such a hard time. She is going with her sister to their brother’s house to start clearing up - at the very least his fridge will need to be emptied! Looks like there will be a post mortem later this week - so then they will need to visit the registrar.
