Storm Eowyn (4)

Out and about this morning - into Dunoon as Breagha had a vet's appointment and then over to Tighnabruaich to check Susan & Jeane's flat was OK - the devastation wrought by the storm was evident as was the work being done by large groups of engineers in various places.  The one in my blip is near Clachaig.

In fact Tighnabruaich, the upper part of Glendaruel, Stronafian , much of Colintraive  and many other places around here were still without power late this afternoon although there was an assurance that almost all would be re-connected by mid night tonight.

SSEN also arranged for a hot food truck at the Colintraive Hall  but welcome as that was, it was probably 48 hours after it should have been there given that 76 hours had elapsed since the outage started. 

Anyway I took a lot of pictures during the trip and will add one or two to the extra photos, and more to my Flickr site when I get a moment.
