Pecker

Despite the wind and the rain (or perhaps because of it) today has been a very busy day for birdlife n the garden - I've seen 13 different species off and on this morning and I've not even been paying that much attention.  However, the visit of the green woodpecker did encourage me to get the camera out to see if I could sneak a shot of it for my blip today.  It is such a beautifully coloured bird.
